I go with have the championship game on 2nd or 3rd to last week of the season.
I am open to going back to espn. The only bonus from fantrax that I see is that you don’t have to manually log the draft picks that are traded. Also the player pool is more updated.

This is the message I get on Fantrax when doing payouts.
If you did not pay out the full amount to the owners, and used the above feature to transfer part of the funds to next season's league, or any other league, or chose to leave funds temporarily until leagues become available, that amount becomes part of the new league's pool, and must be paid out at that league's season conclusion. No refunds for any amounts previously paid in this league will be possible. Before you submit, please make sure all the values are accurate, and that you have read this message and understand it.
I am going to transfer the remaining balance to myself in case we decide to go with another site.

Payouts have been made through the fantrax site.
You can go into your account, and ask for a withdrawal (looks like they will mail a check or deposit it into your paypal acct)
