I just saw that the draft is in the evening on 9/30. I might end up autodrafting because I work all Jaguar home games for the NFL. I will hopefully be done by that time, but not sure.
If I autodraft, that's fine. I haven't ever played fantasy hockey before (fantasy football for many years, but never hockey), so autodraft might actually be better for me.

You should probably change the scoring to be not head to head if we have only 7 teams
ETA: I guess we're not drafting tonight. "Your league will not be permitted to conduct its draft if it contains an odd number of teams"

I'd do it, but I like hockey about as much as you like "dribble ball"......and I don't do any fantasy leagues of "dribble ball".....sooooooo...yeah.

I'm interested in playing, but I've never played Fantasy Hockey before. So I won't really know what I'm doing the first year. I wouldn't hold it against you if you wanted to just go with 6 and kick me out.
If I do stay in, and we auto draft and play with 7 teams. Don't we have to change the scoring type? How are you going to do H2H with an odd number of teams?
