He's got to be the top unkept prospect - He's got power, great plate discipline. He's up before the break in my view. I really was trying to find a way to keep him but I can't for a few reasons - I have Wright and I already have 2 Rox. Send me your 3rd and you'll be set for the next 10 years at a shallow position.

Why would he do that when he can just draft him with the #3 overall pick?

Sano is seriously good but he won't be up this year.

He shouldn't be kept - he's probably 2 years away.

More than likely. Hardy is signed through next season, so I could see Machado getting a callup in September of next year in preparation for him taking over the starting SS job in 2014.

There's no guarantee - why would you or ricky pass on this guy. I was going to redraft him but there was too much pub out on him for him to make it to me.

I'm not gonna take him at #2 overall. I need players that can produce immediately.
And rick is too dumb to take him.

arenado shouldnt be a 1st rd pick either

I looked at your team....I'd rebuild some. You're not going to keep Mesoraco? I'd keep him and draft Arenado if McRick whiffs. Two top prospects that are going to play this year at weak positions...

Not for some teams but for teams that are having to rebuild some positions - he's coming up this year, there's no one to block him and he hits for OPS and HR in coors at a weak position. I can't think of a better first round pick for several teams. Wasting a pick on a mid level pitcher or an aging bat makes no sense if you're rebuilding and you have close to no chance this year.

I hate keeping catchers, and mesoraco is only playing half the time this year.
Why keep him when he can be drafted in like round 5 at least?
