I'd take his roster over mine at this point.

though not shocking you added the prospect

The Rays have a good track record at signing guys to long-term deals to avoid arbitration (Longoria). I wouldn't have pursued him before that deal was signed. His minor league numbers were as good as Strasburg's and I think he has a much cleaner delivery. His postseason performance was nice as well.

Greinke post ASB went 2.59 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. It took him a while to settle down after the injury but he rightfully should carry a higher tag than Sanchez.

We play a full season in this league.

Greinke is about as overrated as they come. Lights out his Cy Young year and then basically an Anibal Sanchez clone his other years (not that it's a bad thing, but Greinke shouldn't be viewed as a fantasy ace)

for this year? no way

young players are so volatile. They all basically have to come of age for him to be competitive, and that simply wont happen just based on history. A few of them should, but he needs all of them unless he hits the draft out of the park

he has some awesome prospects though.

at this point he can pretty much count on Carlos Santana and McCutchen, and to an extent Hosmer.

his most experience pitcher is prob Beachy who had a subpar 2nd half last year. and is he even trust worthy?

Moore is awesome, no doubt.

you dealt basically the only sure thing on your team though and Minor also had sick minor league numbers.

I certainly understand that viewpoint. In fact I agree with most of it. I might have delayed my team's productivity a little, but I tend to look at ceilings more than last year's stats. Unlike years-past my players will all be in the majors. I watched many of Minor's starts at AAA last year. He's a good control/power pitcher. I'm sure you remember the 12K start he had against the Cubs in 2010.

I offered him any and all of rasmus, Dunn, chapman, pomeranz, swisher, banuelos, mesoraco for just Moore.

He got a good deal though from earl.

If he took all seven, it would have been better than his last seven current keepers.
