I like that trade for both teams.

You had some holes that you filled, and knat got a big hitter to pair with Miggy.

Both teams improved, imo.

At the same time, I was really high on Hill and Bonafacio. Gotta roll with the heavy hitters though.

That's how it should be

Is a big hitter a necessity?

Bruce is hitting fricking rockets this spring, btw.

I think he's hitting .625 so far.

I think it's fair on paper but I'm not sure if knats team got better. Kinda gutted his team IMO

He can replace assdribble with alexei (not really a dropoff imo).

He does have a hole at 2B now, but he has two first rounders to grab someone.

His OF got better, and he upgraded at 3B.

Not bad at all.

based on last year's numbers he traded 257runs 93HR 279RBI

and he gained

185runs 69 HR 166RBI

even with Alexei added to that he is still kind of in the red in the power categories.

but like i said to get a stud like Bautista you have to pay. I say it is fair on paper, but adding an injured Hart to a team that already has an injured Howard is not ideal in my eyes

Not to discredit the deal, because I thought it was an even one. But Asdrubal compared to Alexie last year:

6 more runs
10 more HRs
22 more RBI
10 more SB
791 to 727 OPS

I dont anticipate Assdribble matching last year's numbers, but that's just me.

Beltre will probably still be solid.

Who knows with Uggla. I've never been a fan, but he has value. Unpredictable and streaky.

And yeah, you gotta pay to get the big guns. It's a good risk, imo.

Im fricking around.

I disagree about Uggla though

2011: 88/36/82/764
2010: 100/33/105/877
2009: 84/31/90/813
2008: 97/32/92/874
2007: 113/31/88/805
2006: 105/27/90/818

Im trying to think of a 2B to start their first 6 years of their career like that, and Im drawing a blank....

Beltre would have prob hit 40 and drove in 120+ had he played a full season last year.

i dont think so either. id flip him if i were gyno. HE's at least as good as alexei

96 Runs 33 HR 91 RBI on average the last 5 years.

Last year was just nuts how he flipped a switch.

I'd prefer a consistent line from guys each week, rather than a 1-27 stretch that fricks me in 4 categories in a week.

Sure, the 13-27, 6 HR, 15 RBI, 11 run stretches are nice too, but those shitty weeks drive me apeshit.

Last year was his first streaky year I think. But I know what you're saying.

To an extent, every player in a H2H league is "streaky". Is there anyone who plays a full season at the top of their game besides maybe Miggy and Pujols? In the end, it's all about winning weeks and who is hot at the right time. Pretty sure Uggla helped win Peyton a lot of weeks as well as the ship. Good enough for me
