to each his own, but thats crazy considering Abreu is 37 and had his worst year statistically in his career last year.
And all of those catchers will likely put up similar or better numbers are a much rarer position
Dude still steals bases, but I forgot that you don't think SB's matter at all.

I didn't say I would keep Scott over Napoli.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure TBM have argued with me a lot telling me that position eligibility doesnt matter.
You could be.
I said having a keeper at every position doesn't matter.

I'd probably still pick Scott over Napoli, fwiw. Baltimore's offense is much improved, and I think Scott's numbers could benefit because of it.

he had 14 last year, not really a difference maker in my eyes

He had a NET of 14. That's pretty good and well above average.

Net is all that matters in this league, bub

And how many are NOT keepers?

Abreu has reached the rapidly descending slope towards retirement.

I agree that he's declining. He's still good for one more productive year though.

none are 37 and declining.
that's beyond the point. Just funny you wouldn't keep those catchers but will keep him.
I just like picking people's brain when things dont add up in my head.
and shoot, abreu isnt a bad 11 or 12th keeper, but those catchers are valuable as well.

Is Michael Young a bad 12th keeper?
Huston Street?
I like picking the brains of people that know more than me on a subject

Yeah Wieters isn't a keeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am planning to keep Wieters for what it is worth. I think he will do better this year, especially with Buck managing him for a full year.

I was being a jokester
I'd keep him in a heartbeat. Have you seen the Orioles' new lineup!??!
