from a 16th spot perspective, id rather the back to back sandwich picks than a pick every 15 picks.

Of course you would. It helps the strong stay strong. I just think a standard style is more fair in a long term keeper league, where there is NO limit on how long you can keep a player.

I'm going to have to side with Lester here. No one's team became good through any of the drafts after the 1st anyway.

And tax cuts for the wealthy, too!!!

well it would all even out through the draft, like you said. At one point you will have 31 picks between your own.

but the top rounds are important, i think being able to add 2 quality players back to back at 16/17 is more beneficial to your team than doing it the other way

Of course they didn't. I was speaking tongue-in-cheek with the one pick in 30 picks comment.

However, I still think that standard is better in a format like this. I'm doing some research now to strengthen my argument.

But it's NOT beneficial to the guy with the first pick. Start thinking about the entire league, and not just yourself.

in a pay league, i could give two shits about anyone else

that being said, reduce the number of keepers if you want to make an attempt to increase parity

If there were less keepers, I wouldn't be in favor of a standard draft.

to play devils advocate, I doubt the guy with the first pick would ever trade his first two picks for the 16th guys first two picks

I argued against the increase from 10 to 12 in year 1 based on parity. Now that I have taken my team from last to first under those rules I don't think we need to go back to 10 keepers.

I think even Will, the best team in the league, has requested less keepers. 10 would be better, but I am now content with 12.
