I just managed to successfully duplicate the espn player rater for all hitters, but using our scoring system.
Now I just have to figure out their pitcher formula.

I know - I was thinking of trying to trade him at one point. I was worried he'd be leaving Coors in a couple of years. Not anymore.

Trout was no doubt a prospect entering 2010, but few people expected the 25th overall pick in the 2009 draft to make the kind of impression he did. He had stretches where he looked like the best player in the minor leagues, and if he could have advanced past Class A last year, he might have ranked No. 1 on this list. His natural feel for hitting should accelerate his timetable for reaching the big leagues. He's a legitimate five-tool player -- six if you count his plate discipline -- and as close as a player in the low minors can get to can't-miss status. Considering the Angels have two starting outfielders in their mid-30s (Bobby Abreu and Torii Hunter), a 2011 debut isn't out of the question for Trout, but a September call-up is the more reasonable expectation, giving him a chance to turn 20 first. He's a must-own in long-term keeper leagues and worthy of stashing in AL-only formats.

Michael Young wants to stay at third base
According to T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com, Micheal Young has told the Rangers that he is not interested in moving off third base.
Young wasn't thrilled about being moved from shortstop to make room for Elvis Andrus, so this isn't surprising. The Rangers would like to add Adrian Beltre, but aside from the hefty price tag, they must also be concerned about what the potential signing would mean for Young, who is virtually untradeable due to his contract.
