FWIW, baseball probably is easier to rebuild in then football or basketball just because their are so many more players.
no fricking way
i am not going to argue, but i strongly disagree with that. rick, stout, and cat are all going to have a chance to compete from the get go this year. in football rick is competing and knat is pwning the league as an expansion team. hell you have a pretty good team. reddman isn't sniffing the playoffs next year. no offense to him, but he has a ways to go.

well...I have found its easier to make waiver moves that will help significantly down the road in baseball. Its a long term thing but you dont need to make trades.
Waiver in football and basketball are stop gaps and plugins.
I wouldnt say my tdfl ream is good by the way

you have a competitive team. i said at the begenning of the year that i could see your team making the playoffs. you have made some good moves. everyone has a chance. with a 16 team league that has 12 keepers, you can't say that.

I am not arguing, I see your point.
But through waiver wire pickups I made my team a lot better.
Picked up Wade Davis right before he was promoted to bigs - Keeper
Picked up A Escobar and Heyward off waivers and traded them to Rouge for Hanson and a 1st - Keeper
Picked up Coghlan off waivers and he is a hitting machine - Keeper
Picked up Rzepczynski off waivers and if his last 3 or 4 starts are an indication, that dude is gonna be the tits next year.
I am just saying that baseball has soooo many more players and minors that if you bite the bullet for a year and try to build a core, its very possible.
I bet if redd hadnt been so close to making the playoffs his first year and he knew he would get buttfricked by injuries this year, he would have been in rebuild mode all year.

You traded for him.
But I do agree with your argument.

I would scope out the drops and look for any names I didnt know and research them
I figured you guys would have a reason for having them on your team.
I knew I was gonna suck so I was able to stash players.
