Was FBI anon a scheme to get more people to vote Trump?

If that Reddit thread was real, then there are still very incriminating emails out there. The stated reason for the FBI not to drop all these emails was to not give Obama the chance to pardon her. Instead, Trump would move forward with the investigation when he became President.

So, if Trump doesn't investigate, and the super evil emails never come out, then I have to believe those emails never existed and this was a Trump get out the vote scheme.
