So you say Republicans are on record wanting voter ID laws to suppress black voting
I'll never not be amazed by your inability to google a simple thing. Learn some skills, son!

I don't think they "can''t", I think Republicans specifically targeted them to suppress their vote by whatever means necessary. Yesterday it was literacy tests, today it's ID laws, tomorrow it'll be something else.
Get the frick out of here you racist piece of shite. We don't tolerate racism here. Thinking that blacks are so stupid they can't even get a voter ID? frick off with your racism. There are plenty of blacks who are capable of getting an ID, to instantuate they are so dumb and stupid they are incapable of obtaining an ID is low, racist vile scum.
frick off, racist a-hole. Seriously. fricking racist prick.

You still have not provided a link where Republicans have gone on record. The Washington Post claiming something is not the same as a person "going on record."
Pathetic.
Pathetic.

It's exactly what you're claiming.
Not at all - I'm claiming (with facts! You should try it sometime!) that voter ID laws disproportionately affect minorities. This is because we know, regardless of ABILITY, that fewer minorities IN REALITY have IDs that would allow them to vote.
This is especially true in North Carolina, where the Republican legislature asked for how many African Americans they would be disenfranchising with the law vs. Whites before they passed it.
And this whole lying thing? You really should stop projecting Trump's failings onto the other side. It's not a good look for you.

Again, you work for the media you claim to hate. You've lost the ability to provide any sort of reasoned opinion.

ou have an odd definition of lie, since everything I said earlier is identical to what the appeals court judges said.

Sure have - you should go back a few pages and check them.

Do not even reply guys, just RA for racism and move on.
BamaAtl is being a racist a-hole by saying that minorities are so stupid they can't even get a voter ID.
If that is not racism I do not know what is.
Again, RA for racism and move on. Do not fan the flames of outright racism here.

Deflection noted. You had just been outed as a racist prick and you try to deflect and change the subject.
Not going to fly. We all now see you as the evil racist you are

How in the frick do you look at yourself in the mirror? You are totally dishonest and a liar.

Yeah, because defending the rights of African Americans to vote from Republican racism is sure racist on my part!
I know you Trumpkins get some measure of joy from projecting, but it's not a very good tactic.
Btw, you're going to be one of the ones having a big melt tonight - I can feel it already. Looking forward to it!

The facts are right in front of your eyes, in black and white.
First of all, the facts you quoted have nothing to do with voter ID, and it's only limited to a single state. The article you quoted had a judge ruling that his "legal opinion" was that it was discriminatory. This =/= to republicans admitting VOTER ID is used to suppress minority vote.
As a conservative (don't agree with a good bit of republican stances), I'm not a fan of the ease in which illegitimate votes can be cast. The fact of the matter is republicans do not want those who are not supposed to be voting to vote money in their pockets. They do not want those who even have the right to vote, to be able to vote an unlimited amount of times. You may say it's not really an issue, but it even happening once silences 1 opposing vote. And it does so illegally.
Obama was recently asked
Many of the millennials, Dreamers, undocumented citizens – and I call them citizens because the contribute to this country – are fearful of voting. So if I vote, will Immigration know where I live? Will they come for my family and deport us
His response
Not true, And the reason is, first of all, when you vote, you are a citizen yourself. And there is not a situation where the voting rolls somehow are transferred over and people start investigating, etc. The sanctity of the vote is strictly confidential
I mean come on. Republicans are only trying to combat the shady tactics of the opposing side.

That's why we put polling places close to where people live, and provide absentee ballots for those who cannot get to the polls on polling day.
Oh, wait - you thought your rejoinder that you came up with on the fly was a good one? God, you're the perfect Trump voter.

If you'd read the news, you'd find similar stories regarding Wisconsin, Kansas, North Dakota, etc. North Carolina is the easiest to point to this election cycle, but no honest observer claims it's an island of racism in a sea of harmony that is African American voting rights in the US.

As a Republican, you should realize that voter ID laws are not the way to stop whatever you mean by that. There is no in-person voter fraud, especially none at a level needed to swing a national election in this country. Full stop.

Off topic, but how hard is it to get an ID?
For some people it can be be difficult. The Duarte of Alabama is poorly run by Republicans (who will all be re-elected while dimwit Trumpkins tell drain the swamp). They closed many rural license offices so those citizen had to travel a great distance to get an id.

And they initially tried to close rural license offices only in majority African American counties...oops.

In-person voter fraud, the kind prevented by voter ID laws, does not exist in this country.
My uncle who was unable to vote in Oregon because someone already cast his vote during the 2014 Senate race would like to challenge your definitive statement.
