They use pre-election polls + turnout numbers.

I follow Vice on Facebook because every once in a blue moon they have an interesting story. However, for the past few months they have posted Anti-Trump articles every single day. I wouldn't trust this source at all if they picked them.

They think it is incredibly difficult to do. They praised some of their efforts and questioned others. Regardless, it is a nice holdover and at a minimum should offer some trend information as the day wrap ups and before the official numbers roll in.

I just voted for the unbroken horse in PA. Figured I'd rather take a chance with Trump than vote for someone who I know is corrupt.

If he wins, he better not screw up. I have no reservations about voting him out in 4 years.

Their algorithm is based first and foremost off the polls. If the polls are wrong, their numbers are wrong.
