I'll give NH this, they onow how to monetize the shite out if the primaries- scarcity + demand leads to 300 dollar a night Hampton Inn stays, OTOH the same scarcity leads to weird shite like staying at a Holiday Inn Express with topline Presidential candidates (you see bomb dogs when you try and snag a waffle and assume you're still asleep).

It's actually a law in NH, that any town with a population under 100, may have special permission from SOS of NH to open polling at midnight. They are then allowed to release the results as soon as 100% of the registered residents of the town have voted.
