If you are now on Facebook claiming that you “Never thought people would be so stupid as to vote in Donald Trump,” you need only to look in the mirror to see what stupid really is. Did you jump to the assertion that anyone who opposed Hillary Clinton is a xenophobe, a bigot, a racist, or a misogynist? Did you rush to claim that Trump supporters are all ignorant assholes who are unaccepting of people unlike them? If you did, go ahead and ponder the irony of your actions, then. Let it all soak in a while and if, after thorough saturation, you still think yourself to be exempt from the stupidity and divisiveness you cast upon others, it may be time for everyone else to move on and leave you behind. There may be no hope of you sifting through the trees to identify the forest.
