Winning the popular vote is meaningless. Few Presidents in recent history have done that. Get over it.

I just checked. In the 1932 election with the country in the depth of the Great Depression, FDR only got 57% of the vote. That was the most ever.

Winning by razor thin margins is pretty much the norm.

1992 - Bill Clinton won the election to serve as the 42nd President of the United States by a wide margin in the Electoral College, receiving 43% of the popular vote against Bush's 37.5% percent and Perot's 18.9%. It was the first time since 1968 that a candidate won the White House with under 50% of the popular vote. Only Washington, D.C. and Clinton's home state of Arkansas gave the majority of their votes to a single candidate in the entire country; the rest were won by pluralities of the vote. - wiki

In 1860 Lincoln handily won in the EC but garnered only 40% of the popular vote.

No. ruling by party needs to end now. We have laws and procedures in place and it's time we follow them. I'm all on board with appointing an IG to run a real, transparent investigation but the motivations need to be about what evidence is currently available, not her political party, the campaign or the election.

It does not matter she is not going to challenge the Electoral College results.

Let her fade into a footnote and have the next AG sit down with her and Bill and explain to them how advantageous it would be for them to be not as "involved" in the CGI. The last thing Trump is going to need is to be seen as pursuing a vendetta against a vanquished foe.

She's done in politics....she's a two time loser. Bill is now done as well. They are done, don't make them martyrs. The real enemy is Barack H Obama. He is going to campaign hard to try and revamp Congressional districts and to "reform" how we do it-read_ how to create a democrat long term majority in the House of Representatives
