How does the Republican Party build on this victory?

Even though it isn't "really" a victory. Do they adopt some of Trump's ideals and keep the ball rolling? Will this be a one term and back to business approach that will cost them the White House in 2020?

Does Trump winning legitimize a 3rd party moreso than Gary fricking Johnson?

We saw in this election that the white, middle class, working American's will get out and vote for a candidate that isn't part of the machine... so how does the machine -- change? It's a whole new world, and I'll be interested to see how things play out for the next 4 years.

My thoughts exactly. He has a unique opportunity that Obama squandered. He needs to begin reaching out to the Congress to implement a plan that gets us moving forward again. Time to stop the social experiments and focus on the task of governance.

Fix the disaster that is obamacare.

Real steps toward immigration control.

Cut business and investor tax, watch the stock market climb.

Ignore anti gay shite, abortion crap, bathroom BS.

Get better trade deals for the US.

Get Europe to pay for more of its own defense.

Cut growth of spending, deficit.
