Whites with college degrees:

Trump 47%
Clinton 46%

Trump was losing this demo in almost every poll leading up to today so this is actually good

no its not. its very bad news. College graduates are about a 1/3 of the electorate (although that includes other races).

doing better with whites without college degree could make up for it though.

Polls that had Crooked up 3 or 4 had him losing this demo by 5+ points. The media hammered that point home

So not losing it is big.

IDK, that's a 14% shift from 2012. They're high propensity voters as well. If Clinton wins these voters in say North Carolina it could swing the state blue. It could make up for lost AA turnout.

Democrats have tried to win this demo for years. To be this close is crazy good for Dems.

And previous dude has his facts confused:

Dems win the college degree vote. But they weren't leading with white college educated.

He has a larger lead with non college educated than Romney had and that's 2/3 of population.

Plus white turnout is up so that helps him as long as he leads the demo, even if percentages are narrower

Exit polls showing Clinton winning all voters with a college degree 52% to 40%.
