Looks amazing, but my second kid is due a week after it comes out, so I guess I'll get to enjoy it in a couple years.

Dude, babies sleep. I got more gaming done after my first one was born than any year since then.

Sure, the infant will sleep, but add an 18 month old nicknamed "Mayhem" to the mix and it's a different story.

my only issue is the FPS view. It'd be infinitely more appealing to me if you had an option like Skyrim to go FP or TP.

Their reasoning for first person is that it's somehow more immersive and makes you feel more like the character or what not. I tend to disagree. I find myself completely divorced from the character in first person because it's so unnatural vs how actual human field of vision looks and the fact you don't see them. I feel like a floating camera not a character.

Imagine if Witcher 3 was completely first person except in the cutscenes. It would make Geralt feel like a stranger imo.

I agree... plus I like to see my character if I dedicate a decent amount of time to creating their avatar.

Getting more excited by the day. CDPR have a good track record and I think this is destined to be one of tGOAT games, even if it doesn’t match the insane hype.

Finished my first ever play through of Witcher 3 a few months back and just completed the DLCs more recently - it’s top 3 all time for me, so this has only increased my hype for Cyberpunk a thousand fold

Seriously. They brag on and on about all the customization options in the game and you're going to spend probably 90% of the time not even seeing them.

Regardless, first person gripes aside, I'm sure it'll be great.

I was stoked on the original announcement and as others have said, I would have preferred a third person (or the option, a al TES games) game.

I probably logged more time with Shadowrun (1993) than any other SNES game (yeah, buddy, I'm old, wanna fight about it?)
