This controversy about Bernie supposedly saying a woman can’t win

Has to be the dumbest and most contrived thing I’ve ever seen.
Warren is a dirty hag - we saw it with the Indian heritage lie and initial cover-up, and this is another example of her telling an obvious lie and getting allies to spread it further.
I have a feeling this will backfire on her like her heritage lies did.
Bernies supporters are a lot like Trump supporters - they watch the news and are completely engaged. They will see through this and hold it against Warren bitterly.

Yea, this thing reeks of contrived manipulation. It’s not a coincidence that this “leaked” a couple days before the final Iowa debate, or that warren had stats on women election outcomes locked and loaded for it.
I’m 99% sure that she decided about a week ago that she wanted to talk about her’s, klobachur’s, and other women’s recent election successes and needed a good way to bring it up. So she recalled an old conversation from Bernie, intentionally took his words out of context, and leaked that deception at the ideal time to maximize the exposure and force the issue to be raised in this debate.
Which might be good politics, but it’s downright skeezy. And I think Trump and Bernie’s popularity both emphasize just how sick and tired of political disingenuousness the American voting population is.

I need to wait for the fallout from the Veritas release before I make any judgments about Sanders. Near as I can tell that motherfricker is a straight up communist. If that's the case then I don't give a damn what needs to be done to ruin his campaign.

The Indian thing will sink her if she becomes he nominee. It will be everywhere for a year. Imo it’s not something that I would hold against her, she didn’t tell the truth and I’m not sure if she knew she was lying or not (the true answer I’m sure is murky), but that was years ago and wouldn’t have any bearing on her policies and governance as president. That said the Trump campaign and meme warriors will use it to no end and absolutely bombard America with it. And it’s something that absolutely will drive people away.
