Looking for recommendations on where to vacation late July

Going on a family vacation for a week at the end of July and we are trying to figure out exactly where we want to stay. We go every summer around the smokies and stay on different lakes or rivers. Looking to stay in that same general area but avoiding pigeon forge. There will be around 20 of us going so we need a large house to hold everyone. I'm looking to do some fishing while we are there so an area with a good local trout population is a big plus.

I was going to say this, but then I didn't wanna be called trashy but Ive been there multiple times when I was younger with my uncle who lives in Missouri. I don't know much about the fishing there, but hopefully that will change in the future now that he has bought a nice 18 or 19 foot boat.
Beautiful lake, though.

There are several LARGE lakes in that "area". Great smallmouth bass fishing among other things

I’ll be up there in a few weeks. Staying in Calico Rock next to the White River. Can’t wait.
