Normally by now we hear a few things about the direction are beloved Saints are taking, but for the most part outside of "maybe" Graham, we have been relatively quiet.

Now considering our team is almost complete from top to bottom it still begs the question of how can we get even better?

I have a feeling Sean/ML/DA want to make the DL even better. However, there's really no stand out talent waiting to be courted outside of Okafor. I have a good feeling that the FO is biding their time for MIA to release Suh. They are over the cap by a ton and unless they have a miracle trade for Landry in the next 6 days they will have to release someone before the start of the new year.

I wouldn't be shocked if/when Suh gets cut, he winds up on a plane to NOLA.

Thoughts?

Suh is a beast. He plays dirty, but as long as he is a dirty beast on our team, I’m all for it! He would be scary along side Cam.

Suh and rankins next to each other would be terrifying. No more double teaming rankins up the middle

It would be pick you're poison on who you double team. If signed him and added a playmaking LB. The defense would be scary good.

This with a speed rusher opposite Cam would be a sweet dream or nightmare for other teams.

We're one of the only teams who have signed a free agent at this point. Not sure what you expect us to do this offseason? We haven't been quiet at all though, compared to most of the other teams.

Yeah the Front 7 of cam Jordan, Rankins, Suh, Harold Landry, Klein, Robertson, and Te’o or someone else would be amazing. Would make our secondary look 10 times better. But suh still won’t be cheap but one can dream.

Does he still want to be paid like he was in MIA or does he take a cut since he already got paid and now wants to be on a winning team for once in his career????

There is no way Payton would put up with the crap from Suh. Not a chance.

Payton doesnt put up with off the field stuff but Suh has never had that. All of Suh's problems have been on the field in the moment. I dont think Payton would have much of a problem with that considering his history.

Suh has only missed 2 games in his entire career and both were due to suspension. He's turning 31 next year but still a top player at his position. I'd like it if he doesnt break the bank.

And? Fairley was not undisciplined like Suh is. Suh does what he wants, regardless of what anyone thinks. That will not mesh with Payton.

Landry signed his tag this morning so the Dolphins are officially over the cap.
