You must not believe in killing Louisiana deer either

Kill more bigger bucks by doing this, but I would never try that crap on public land. Even in my old age I'm still one sneaky SOB.

Biggest deer I ever shot I was walking and stalking (MS). I admit It wasn't huge, average 8 pt, but I've shot several deer that way and don't think y'all should ridicule non-tree climbers out of hand.
Feel free to ridicule him as a troll or whatever.

I was hunting on the edge of my 40 and Desoto NF. I've not hunted Homochitto, but know the area has more fertile sill than the Desoto area.

Think I'd have any luck there at the end of November? Bringing my climber and will hunt 4 days.

i was on my place, but within a few yards of public NF. No bow; "primitive" 44 single shot, iron sights and all. I was within a good archers max range; 50 yards. Total luck though; I'm definitely a so so hunter as much as I buoy the woods.

I've killed a few while stalking. It's fairly common, especially during the rut when bucks are more distracted.

Again, it's not the stalk hunting everyone is laughing at. You have to look at the whole picture of what this guy aims to do that everyone is saying is near impossible
