LSU 82nd in turnovers for loss.

Here's the big one for Saturday night. The Tigers have won an impressive 32 consecutive night games at home, but I think the Florida D will be too much for them, as they come into this game 93rd in the country in sacks allowed. Expect a big game for the UF defensive ends. And whether Tim Tebow plays or not, the Gators have enough weapons against an LSU defense that has struggled to get a lot of heat on rival offenses (101st in sacks, 82nd in turnovers for loss). The pick is Florida 27, LSU 14.

What the hell is a turnover for a loss?
You mean tackle for a loss?
You mean tackle for a loss?

Impressive words, but we'll see who wants it more on Sat. Every Saturday is a different day and sometimes different team.

I keep seeing all these low ranking numbers supposedly reflecting how bad we suck, but I keep seeing #4 in the nation and 5-0 W-L record next to LSU. Weird.

Florida has not played an offense worth a shite, so those numbers are skewed. If we are able to run the ball, we can win. Charleston Southern, Troy, UT, Kentucky...those offenses don't scare me. Our D is playing better and we didn't blitz a lot as we didn't want to give up the big play. We need to stop the run and then send Alem.

We're in the top 10 in safety completion dropkicks in the red-end zone, so that should more than make up for it (See, I can make up football terms too).

I heard that all turnovers are a loss...

Alem won't be a factor this season at all. It's tough to get sacks when you are constantly having to break bearhugs and sleeper holds that the refs apparently don't see.

Apparently he does mean "tackles for loss", as that is the stat that LSU is 82nd in on defense.

Anybody trying to use statistics for this game is all wet. This years version of the Tigers contradict any rationality. The score is the differnce.
