Is section 301 in Tiger Stadium for Away fans?

I am looking at LSU Alabama tickets on Stubhub. There are section 301, row 3 seats for a decent price but the Stubhub description says "Away fans section" amongst other things. When I select section 301, row 63 tickets, it does not say Away fans.

So questions:
1. I thought the opposing team fans where all on the other side of the Stadium, in the 400 sections.
2. Is there something like some rows within a section going to away fans? So is it possible for section 3 to be Away fans but section 63 for home team?

301 is on the Visitors side but still an LSU section. Great spot actually - sideline near the North Endzone, so great view and audio of the band and student section.

Thanks, just wanted to know if we will be surrounded by Bama fans. So are some rows sold to visitor fans and not others?

na, those are yellow chairbacks.
so they are 99% season tickets or owned by corporations.

just like anywhere else, there will be some visitors scattered around that manage to get their hands on some though.

Row 3 is very low and you will have a hard time seeing the game on the field. You will likely watch most of it on the big screens

I was concerned about this while getting my ticket too. I got section 301 also but got row 55 hoping the view was decent.
Also, mines for Tennessee, not the Gumps.

You’ll be staring at the Jumbotron most to all of the game.

Those seats are so low, all you’ll see is the backs of the Alabama jerseys.

Watched the Ms. State game from row 58. Great spot...99% lsu that day. But the sun will blast you until 6 pm...arm yourself appropriately

They used to have visiting fans in the first few rows of the South East side, not sure if that is still the case.

Row 3 is a terrible seat. Can’t see over the bench.

Believe it or not, we sat in Sec 301, row 3 this past weekend! Great seats but as far as viewing the game as a whole, you need to be at least 15-20 rows higher

301 is on the visitor sideline, but not a visitor section. I don't recommend sitting that low, because you can't really see the plays develop. You'll find yourself mostly watching key plays on the big screens. The game is almost unwatchable once the ball is going towards the opposite end zone.
