Removing Paint from Brick?

The previous owner of my house painted the eaves and soffits on the house and did a really sloppy trim job. I pressure washed the entire house last weekend and tried to pull it up with the pressure washer but no luck.
Is there any magic product to remove paint from brick?

I'm pretty sure some type paint stripper would probably work. Lay the stripper on, and use a stiff nylon bristle or wire bristle brush to see if it comes off.
If it was something I had to do, I'd try using an orbital sander with a coarse grit paper first to see if it will come of that way.
Of course that depends on the texture of the brick. Some brick is fairly smooth but some of them are heavily textured and hitting them with a sander would not be a good idea.

Muractic acid, a stiff brush, and elbow grease.
Be careful, wear protection, and realize muratic acid is also a very effective grass killer.

This is what my father suggested too. I think I will try this. He has a jug of it in his shed he uses on his driveway.

It has a pretty rough finish on it. I have some stuff called crud cutter that took the paint off of my metal awning. I may try this before the acid. The paint is only in a few spots and not really that noticeable but women. eh.

Phosphoric acid (krud kutter) will clean the paint off as well, it tends to be more aggressive than muratic. Which is why muratic is used more often for masonry cleanup.
Protect yourself. Seriously. Both of those acids are nothing to frick with.

Muratic acid? He’s trying to remove paint, not the mortar lol

Well, my only advice would be to stop before he scrubs all the mortar away.
