Two Brothers in the Cotton District is outstanding.
I like Stromboli's, it's a calzone/pizza place. Get the hot chik.
Little Dooey is there too, will likely be packed.
44 Prime is a new steakhouse in Starkville. Supposed to be as good as it gets.
Starkville gets a bad rap, mostly because it's so isolated. It has improved a ton since I was in school there. Tons of really good eating spots.

1883 Smokehouse is some good BBQ in Starkville.
Georgia Blue is great for dinner. Good food and a cool set up.
