Ekeler is a first rounder. I think I’d probably start him lol

Dynasty league. My other two are Nick Chubb and Antonio Gibson

And I know he’s a first rounder, but was playing the matchups… and I fully expect San Fran to MAUL Detroit…. Aka lots of garbage time ground game in an already heavy run scheme

I love Mostert probably more than anyone and I can't see justifying playing him over Ekeler.

You don’t play matchups with first round pick. As is always said, start your studs.

Don’t make me answer that

Just seemed like a quality matchup for Mostert

It is a great matchup and quite honestly Mostert may end up out scoring Ekeler. But, if you go down this road every time this situation comes up you will lose on that decision way more than you'll be right.

Eta: As I just posted in the news and notes thread, Ekeler has the most yards after catch in the league since 2019 and he missed like 9 games last year. Maybe he played in 9 games and missed 7.

How come Ekeler is subjected to this discussion and not Chubb or Gibson? Chubb is a 6 point road dog and doesn't get a ton of passing work. Could get game-scripted out. Gibson has an average matchup against LAC, nothing special.

Starting Mostert over Ekeler really seems like FPS to me. But it's your team, manage it how you want to.

Chubb is on a very good team and will be running behind arguably the best offensive line in the league. He is an every week starter without question.

The Redskins D is really tough but I think Ekeler could approach double digit receptions.

Ekeler is also an every week starter. That's the whole point.

If OP thinks Ekeler is worse than everyone else does (and it sounds like he does), he should trade him to someone who values him as an every week starter/locked in RB1.

You play Ekeler every single week that he is healthy!
