I have not been much of a reader in the past, but have started to push myself to read more and more, evacuation time seems like a no brainer when I am not working.

I started reading Crichton with Jurassic Park and The Lost World, both of which i couldnt put down. I am currently reading Airframe (only 50 pages in) but i cant put it down. Does anyone have any recommendations for authors similar to Michael Crichton? or books similar to Airframe?

Of the few Crichton books I've read, The Andromeda Strain was my favorite.

Timeline by Crichton is his most enjoyable book. Don’t let the terrible movie made from it cloud your judgment.

Is there any specific authors who specialize in corporate espionage?

Agreed. Rising Sun is the same way.

Next is my favorite of Crichton's. It talks about a *lot* of stuff that we are seeing now.

I enjoyed Crichton's book Prey. With that said it is basically like Jurassic Park but instead of dinosaurs it's nanobots.

I loved Sphere the most out of the Crichton books. Really unique.

I'm still pissed that the movie left out the best parts.

Sphere is my favorite. I read sphere for the first time as a 12 year old laying on a couch in a trailer at Toledo Bend over two days of torrential rain. Lightning, thunder, and that book. Was fantastic.
