Saw open dates for both four a good weekend for us. Want to be able to walk into world showcase and do food and wine and drink.
Yacht club is a little more a night but is slightly further away.

One is DVC, the other is not, other than that, not much difference except theming. They both share the same pool.

I’ve stayed at the Yacht Club, have reservations at the Beach Club for Christmas. They all share the same amenities. Think they only difference is the theming. I will say, after a long day in Epcot, the Beach Club is a closer walk from the International Gateway than the Yacht Club.

The Beach Club has a dvc building, but most of it is regular hotel rooms like yacht club.

Beach club is closer to the World Showcase entrance. Yacht club is closer to the boat to Hollywood studios.

Most of the rooms at Yacht club have a better fireworks view. The fireworks view is obscured by proximity to trees in most of the rooms at Beach club.

Both have access to same amenities.

No. The DVC area of Beach club is behind Beach club. Called Beach club villas.

I was there a few weeks ago. Stayed off property. Had car at DHS, stayed late in Epcot. Had to walk back to the car. (Not a bad walk) the first thing I saw was Beach club. I said "next time I'm staying there".

Is already pricey as hell but just wondering if yacht club was worth the premium.

I think I'll stick with beach and just explore yacht. I heard the yachtsman was better than Le Cellier though I'm thinking 90% of food will be booth food.

The older I get, the more I want convenience. It was just my wife and I at the Yacht Club, and we spent most of our time at Epcot, so it was nice to just walk back after a long day and totally worth it.

We are bringing our kids this time and mainly doing Epcot and Hollywood. The boat was extremely convenient when we were there. And I love the Boardwalk area, hoping it’s all open back up by the time we go.

I think it’s worth it, as you have multiple transportation options to different parks and have access to some of the better restaurants at Disney. It was nothing for us to spend the morning at MK, take the monorail back to Epcot for lunch, head back to the resort to rest, then walk back into Epcot. Maybe even taking the monorail back to MK.
It was actually always quicker walking back into Epcot and taking the Monorail to MK then waiting for the bus outside the resort.
