One of my favorite factoids (and one I just heard recently - past couple of months) is that the Farrellys blocked off some hours at the alley to have Murray bowl 3 strikes - ideally, no (or as few as possible) cuts and no "stunt" bowler, they wanted Murray to bowl 3 strikes and have that end up on the final film. They didn't know how long it would take.

Murray rolls in when it is time and rolls 3 strikes in a row. "Now what?"

crazy how they came out with 3 straight all time classics....then nearly a 20 year drought until one comes back and wins an Oscar

Definitely my favorite movie by them.

Wall to wall jokes and pretty much everything hit.

My favorite gag had to be the Amish family’s horse where they asked Woody to change the shoes.

First shot of the horse is of it on a crate to look ten feet tall. Next shot of it is in a pit to make it look like Woody really DID cut its legs off.

Honorable mention goes to Woody telling Quaid that he sees his future and that it is round, smooth, and he puts three fingers into it.

I'm working on a project with Pete at the moment and will see if I can get any info ... not sure he's doing much with his brother as he is focusing on more serious material. This film is set during the Vietnam war and based on a true story.

BTW - a genuinely awesome guy

Didn't he win an Oscar for Green Book? I think he was producer or something. I was absolutely stunned when I saw him standing up there and was like, "Is that the same Farrelly brothers guy... Winning an Oscar for a drama?"
