Fired Saunders and already announced Finch as the head coach. Seems a little shady but good for him.

There's nothing against it but there are usually a lot of logistical hurdles to overcome like coaches being under contract to other teams.
It sounds like this happened because of history with Finch and the GM.

7-24 with a new coach coming in mid season. Putting in a new system, with the old guy's staff still in place.

If this were almost any other coach, I’d be waiting for it, too. But Finch is known for great offenses centered around big men, so I could see KAT giving him a fair shake.
