As someone said before, this is likely due to Barton Simmons being hired there. He has relationships with every top recruit from his time at 247. Vandy will just be a hat on the table, but it gets their name mentioned when it normally wouldn’t be.

We have been Friend Zoned with that top 5. He was all LSU now we make his Top 5. OSU or USC is my guess

I read where it was just confirmed he will be visiting OSU this weekend with his parents. Will be his last visit before NSD. All bets are off where he will go now but think it will be SC or OSU.

At this point I would leave the west coast guys alone. They don’t seem to be happy after being here. That is fine but we can win without.

Here's a story that was in the Cleveland Plain Dealer today about Davis's on-campus visit to OSU. I was really hoping we would land Freeman and be able to lure Davis back into the fold, but unless something dramatic happens soon, I think he's gone.
