Thinking of pulling the trigger on a prebuilt PC

$1289 with GTX 3070 and 5600X
Thoughts from the PC experts? Any upgrades I should go for? Thanks!
eta: Also worth considering, apparently I could downgrade to a 2080 Super and save $190. I also noticed a lot of comments that it could be a couple months before I get it, but I'm in no hurry so that doesn't bother me.

As is, or should I downgrade? Is the 3070 worth the extra $190?

I'd get the 3070 without a doubt. Don't worry about buying a prebuilt, most are great machines. I do see it says no OS, keep that in mind.

Thanks. I've built my last two PCs, but now I have three kids so time is precious, and this looks to be as good a deal as I'd get building it myself, plus I don't want to deal with the hassle of trying to find the processor and video card right now.

People have been saying you’re going to be waiting months to get it from them. But yeah it’s not a terrible price and a solid build, would personally spring for an 8 core CPU though.
Also Windows is easy to install. Just need a flash drive and $5.

I saw that, but I'm definitely not in any hurry. All I've been playing lately is chess anyway.

This was my plan.

It took a month for mine and I ordered it early November

I didn’t see the cas latency of the ram and I would feel more comfortable with a 750w psu, but overall, it seems like a solid mid range rig.
And yes, a 3070 is worth it over a 2080 Super, assuming you are playing modern games above 1080p.

Any of y'all tried Shadow as an alternative? Seems interesting.

Is that that Geforce Now competitor?
As long as you're not playing a fast twitch fps, it's probably fine. Don't have any personal experience with it, though.

The ABS line from Newegg is good. Just bought one of them for myself for Christmas. First PC I haven't built myself in 20 years but it's screaming fast.

Kind of.
Instead of approved games lists or anything like that, you stream from a high end computer you subscribe to. Your have access to the hard drive and everything. Load whatever you want on it.
What's interesting about that is you could also use it potentially for editing video and such since you could install an editor program on there.
I thought it was a neat idea since my old laptops can't even handle video editing. Plus it may be more cost effective than trying to keep up to date on the latest hardware.

Interesting. I don't have a use for it, but that sounds like it could be super useful to a lot of people.

I pulled the trigger on this yesterday, but sprung for the extra ram (32gb). Thanks everyone for the feedback.

If anyone else is thinking about buying from ibuypower, so far so good. The PC was delivered today. It ended up getting delivered in almost exactly one month from when I ordered it which was much faster than I was expecting, especially considering the graphics card and processor are both scarce. I'm setting everything up now, but everything looks to be in order, and the cable management is in better shape than I would have had it.

I'm triggered from you pulling the trigger on a pre-built PC.

For anyone who has been saying that building a pc is “impossible”, the 5600x was in stock for about 12 hours today, and the 5800x is still in stock going on 24 hours.
