Thinking about taking the wife this month. Would it be worth going during Covid? Not really concerned about virus but didn’t know how things are over there

Sister and brother-in-law are there today. Just got a email from them this evening. Said it was slow, lots of empty store/restaurant fronts in downtown.

Empty as in they are closed or just don’t have many guests?

They said empty, so I'm guessing closed. Said business in restaurants and shops was slow.

We went over labor day. A lot less people around. Made it much more enjoyable. i would recommend making reservations at your restaurants of choice. i made the mistake thinking restaurants wouldn't be busy which was accurate. However, because of occupancy limitations a lot of places we couldn't get in during ideal times.
