My experiences have been average. I just can’t pass up Ruffinos for Little Village.

I got a fish special one time. It was too salty, I couldn’t eat it. I told them and the chef came out and apologized and said 1 person seasoned it and then a second person seasoned it not knowing it was already seasoned. Whatever. Brought me another one and it was good.

Went another time and got pasta. The red gravy was acidic, I prefer sweet.

It’s just not a restaurant I want to go to, but I have no ill will towards them.

LV’s seafood gumbo is surprisingly fantastic. Their lobster bisque is great too

Better options in town. I had been several times and the food was okay, some better than average. Then we had a horrible service/management experience (downtown, with owner/matière d') and will never go back.

Run of the mill, overpriced, Italian.

Stick to the only three Italian places in Baton Rouge.
