I've read this several different places as well but it seems like we are getting close to the time when this would need to be finalized. The SEC usually announces the following Saturday's TV schedule on a Monday. The Dec 5 schedule should have been announced yesterday but there was nothing.
The SEC said yesterday that the 6 day window will be used for the 12/5 games. Thus those will be announced on Sunday.

Minimum requirement is a .500 season to be bowl eligible. LSU would need to win at least 2 of the last 4 to have a shot. Mizz and MSST losses will keep this team from a bowl game.
The NCAA made an exception for this season that there is no minimum number of wins to be bowl eligible.
Personally, I don't think LSU should accept an invitation unless they are at least 5-5. A bowl win would put them at 6-5. Getting 5 wins won't be easy.

Not this year. They won't be able to actually do the fun bowl activities.
Wouldn't be shocked if teams actually travelled the day before the game for bowls, like a normal roadtrip, instead of going 4 days early and being quarantined to a hotel
They will still have activities, just not as many. And they will play on national tv.
Unless we polled the players, we are both just guessing. my guess is most of our players would choose to travel and play. For eveyr player that opted out for injury concerns in front of the draft, you would have ten wanting a shot at improving their draft status.

1 more practice is better than 0 more practices. These colleges are on STRICT time constraints mandated by the NCAA year round.
