Most of these you all suggest have the actual war as a backdrop..
I do appreciate all the suggestions though even though i have seen most.
Only thing I have found on Netflix Amazon etc are the 4 I mentioned.

The opening scene of Dances With Wolves has a neat take on a Yankee-Reb confrontation.
Also, How The West Was Won has a couple of poignant scenes, as does Shenandoah.
