you’d be saying this if LSU was undefeated so far?

If LSU was undefeated and beat Alabama when they were as down as LSU actually is this year, I would talk shite, but would secretly feel like it didn’t count.

It doesn't..should have been canceled

Yet the teams that prepared and didn’t listen to outside influences will KEEP their wins. We will KEEP our losses as well.

#let us play was the saying on social media.

They let you play and you don’t want to tackle or win. Other teams let the wokeness affect them off the field. Not on.

It’s on the players.

That’s not a justifiable reason to not have a self pride, team pride and want to uphold the wave of positivity from last year. Maybe not quite to that level obviously but playing at the level they are is embarrassing as a fan and absolutely should be for the players. All teams have dealt with the challenges and adversities of this year, so that’s not an excuse either.

Every game is an interview for your future employment in the NFL if your talent level makes you a serious candidate to play there. So they need to put more effort into being a master of their craft.

I’m not putting it all on the players, the coaches ( especially on the defensive side ), aren’t getting it done. The players shouldn’t be making the same mistakes over and over again this far into the season. The players and coaches aren’t getting it done, plain and simple.

the games don't really feel real to me. more like exhibitions. my interest level for this season is the lowest i can remember. even with the LSU issues, i usually am fascinated by the rest of cfb. i just don't care much this year.

I wasn’t as interested preseason. I’m less interested now. Tiger stadium is the reason I fell for LSU- I love a raucous Tiger stadium. This season sucks.

For me...this season doesn't count for much the way we have performed. But it sure as hell counts. The 2020 National Champion will have to make it through a tough year filled with adversity...that counts for something.

The feeling with lots of players is "why ball out for a glorified exhibition season?" I agree it might come back to bite them in draft evaluation, but we don't have many upperclassmen in the first place

It really doesnt, it is merely a money grab and to give us fans a little juice. Like fancy Spring games. Covid has made this thing silly with people sitting out, reduced practice time and no fans.

The only thing the season doesn't count for is eligibility. If it's going in the record books it counts. You can bet your arse it also counts to the NFL scouts watching.

The season doesn’t count is an excuse for the teams that had no shot for the CFP to begin with. LSU was never going to be in the mix this season even if there was no CoVid. LSU list too much after last years historic season. For teams like Clemson, Bama, and OSU, who had some much returning this season, it definitely counts as those three were the only true national championship contenders this season.

I 100% agree with you. I mean, it’s one thing to maybe think that, but to go on an LSU message board after the team has 3 losses and say this season doesn’t mean much is a bit disingenuous.
