Made the mistake and downloaded Genshin Impact on my phone

By mistake, i mean I’m hooked and can’t put it down. Anyone else playing this? I wanted to see what the hype was about. For a mobile game, it’s awesome. Open World RPG.

Gameplay is pretty good from what I've played, but I have a somewhat older model phone and it tends to freeze up during cutscenes. Crashed 3 or 4 times before I could get to the start of the game and completely missed the first cutscene other than picking a character...so storywise I have no idea whats going on.
I got as far as getting the glider in the first town then flew down to the town square a cutscene occurred and froze up. A minute or so later I'm apparently fighting a dragon in the sky somehow

I'm sure it's much better on PC or a device that can handle it.

Yeah they recommend an iPhone 8 Plus or later. I’m playing on an XS.

It runs smoother on my OnePlus 6T than on my PS4. The game would be better served to be a full priced JRPG instead of a glorified GACHA mobile game.

It's a pretty neat game. Definitely very well made to run so well on phones.

Been playing it on my ps4 since Saturday and I'm enjoying it. It's much better than I thought it would be.
