Last year in the Texas game Kary Vincent looked like he didn’t even try on a 4th and 3 that turned a short pass into a 40-something yard touchdown.

Harris’ non-play on the 75-yard TD to Hill was maybe as inexcusable. It probably was an easier play to make considering he had the sideline; I’m still shaking my head at that one. We know Vincent rebounded well as the season progressed, but I’m not sold on Harris. For our defense’s sake, I hope he proves me wrong.

But all the talk of schemes, coverages, play calls, etc., sometimes you just simply have to execute the play that’s right in front of you

This was Harris’ 1st game back from a bad ACL injury I’m going to give him a little slack since everyone else on the defense mailing it in besides Stevens and Gaye.

You have coaches making 7 figures depending on the players on the field to execute. If there is someone not performing I feel confident that they will make personnel changes if that is the solution. Every busted play, though, will not necessarily warrant a replacement.

Hopefully, some of these guys learn from their mistakes. Last yrs team did a lot.

That was as routine of a play as a safety can have. No excuse for missing that tackle or at least forcing him out.

I’ve never seen Harris make a good play at LSU. He was terrible before his injury so stop using that excuse, it was the coaches fault for putting him out there.
