Will subscribing to ESPN+ result in less buffering during big games on the ESPN app?

I currently watch ESPN, ESPN 2, SEC Network, etc through the ESPN app and still have the notorious buffering issues during big games when a lot of people are watching. I am wondering if ESPN gives streaming priority for those who subscribe to their ESPN+ service over those who do not have it? In other words, will I get less buffering issues on the ESPN app if I pay the extra 6 bucks a month for ESPN+?

the ESPN app sucks no matter your device or connection speed

That has long been my experience with it. I was just curious if ESPN throttled speeds for non ESPN+ subscribers during peak traffic. I would gladly pay 6 extra bucks a month for it to actually work.

Espn+ has nothing to do with the espn channels.

And for those that have terrible viewing experience on watch espn and espn+, what devices are you using? Haven't had an issue in years.

I have buffering with a gig hardwired connection into my Shield TV. It's the only all I have that does so...

Firestick. It works great on an average day. For a Saturday night college game or Monday Night Football, you can expect buffering every 30 seconds.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but is this "normal" with gig internet? Just moved to a new house with Gig fiber from ATT. I'm trying streaming with HULU and it buffers a few times a night for a few seconds each, even when nothing else is using internet.
