To be fair, many legit places are reporting that there is "substantial mutual interest". This dude just jumped the gun a little it appears.

Shamit at BBS said that he's heard through the organization that Lue coming to NOLA was never a strong possibility because he wants to go somewhere that is playoff ready now. Don't think he wants to go through growing pains.

There have been a few reports that that is Lue's preference so that wouldn't be surprising info.
