Snapper season end?

I have heard from more than one person that they expect the red snapper season to end this weekend. Anyone else hearing this? I know that the quota was over 80% as of late July.

Based on the current numbers, it appears we will reach the allocated total by the end of next weekend. Curious to see if they allow the season to extend until Labor Day weekend or shut it down Aug 23.
