I saw this product on Shark Tank.

The product was presented as a way to have the best-tasting water for your coffee-making. My wife loves coffee. I only drink it sparingly, but I was curious how it would work to make carbonated sparkling water.

Each box contains 12 packs of powder that each makes a gallon of water. You put it in distilled water, which is pretty flavorless having all the minerals removed.

It made really smooth coffee that my wife likes a lot. As for the sparkling water, it tasted good, but for the price, I think I'll just continue to use NOLA tap water (which tastes great IMHO) with a scant pinch of baking soda to cut a little acid flavor.

Your opinion on Nola water makes me question the rest of your review. shite is nasty.

New Orleans water has historically won water tasting competitions. There were even talks to sell bottled New Orleans water commercially.

Tastes better than BR water. Tastes better than Slidell water.

I drink JP tap water. I would give this a shot as I am a morning coffee drinker.

You're entitled to your opinion, but your opinion is wrong. Nola's water is some of the worst water in this country that I've ever had. Meanwhile, Baton Rouge's water is some of the best I've had. Wish I could get water that good here in Nashville.

We sell these in our stores in Phoenix/Scottsdale and highly recommend them for areas where your TDS measures over 125 PPM (most places, but BR water is mostly amazing). Phoenix water is around 490 PPM, near the EPA limit and nearly undrinkable.
Brewed coffee is about 98% water, and the mineral content is super important to get a perfect cup every time. These are made to mix with a gallon of distilled water, and are pretty great value for what they are. Highly recommended!

Looks like a means of separating suckers from their money. Sodium chloride is table salt and mag sulfate is Epsom salts.

Prof that ppl will buy anything with TV exposure and individual packaging. Water is efficiently piped to your house, so this crap requires you to buy plastic packaged distilled water and plastic sachets of the trace minerals removed during distilling. Waste, for a perceived improvement in coffee taste? Environmental end times.

It's not totally BS. I only know about water chemistry as it relates to beer brewing, but I'd imagine coffee is very similar. In brewing, different water profiles give vastly different end results. It can make or break the beer.

I don't see OP's product as being beneficial to standard drip stuff that most of us drink, but if you're in to it like BRPHX is, then it could make a world of difference.

Those are some of the same chemicals that brewers use to adjust the water chemistry for better tasting beer, so I don't doubt that it could work... but... is it really worth it?
