The guy looks miserable on the course. Of course he is not playing good, but he sure looks down and doesn't want to be out there.

Dammit, I was making a hot take of the same thing while you posted this.

Gulp, I think Brooks is broken mentally and physically.

He’s jokingly said that he doesn’t like golf, I wonder if he was serious. Could be fatigue or that he’s made a lot money in a short amount of time and has a frick it mentality

He has stated multiple times he likes to be sure to show absolutely no emotion. And he hasn’t played well. Wouldn’t expect him to look too chipper struggling to make the cut. And he definitely isn’t feeling great with that knee. He said this week that it felt food, but it can’t feel too good or he wouldn’t have had the mri last week.

He only seems to be able to motivate himself for majors. It’s tough to stay mentally focused year round, but he seems disinterested.

If he is still hurting, not sure playing on it will help.

Missing cuts like this hurts.

He’s always had that droopy look to me while he’s out there.
Not to say he doesn’t have current. Issues.

I hope the best for Brooks !

He is off to a great start today and golf needs him at his best.

As a personal expert on knees (6 surgeries), I know from experience you can have a good day and a bad day with them.

I am really interested in his approach to healing his knee with stem cell therapy. Things are advancing so fast in dealing with joint issues these days.

He won't admit it, but you can tell the knee if still bothering him.

But to come out and tie his personal best of 62, is pretty damn impressive. I think we'll see a lot more of this version of Brooks with the PGA Championship coming up

How can you “tell” his knee is bothering him? Last week he shot like shite and it was cause he supposedly had “life issues”. Guess he fixed them cause he was fiya today.

No who has life issues or an injury? Bryson.

Hope BK can make it to Sunday and finish high. He’s fun to watch when he’s on point.

I was referring to him not being one to use the knee injury as an excuse. He said it felt fine a couple weeks ago and then still went and had a MRI done. There's no way he's been 100% with it.

Yesterday's 62 is a sign that he's obviously not struggling like he was. When he's on, Brooks is tough to beat.

1. his knee was wrapped during the practice round Wednesday

2. he’s mentioned it quite a few times this year

This dude just fricks with everyone I think .

Hell of a talent. Might got down as a John Daly type one day without all the off the course stuff.

Just doesn't seem to GAF.
