MBP Not Loading Certain Sites Correctly

Clicked on a link to WSHH in the OT last night and this is what comes up.



It's been doing this for a while now (with specifically that site). Weird thing, if you click any of the hyperlinks in it, FB Messenger loads. And you can't play the video either. Click the play button and the page goes to FB messenger.



Can the tech guru's who reside here please steer me in the right direction to a fix?

Are you running any ad-blockers or are you connected to a work network? I see that sometimes with blockers.

I sometimes forget I'm connected to work through my VPN and straight up block many sites - but some will try to load like the example you posted.

Nope. Personal laptop. Not used for my business at all.

It’s very possible that that particular version of safari being a few years old could be having trouble running modern js on those websites. I know that was an issue in Mavericks a couple years back. I agree with the suggestion to try chrome or Firefox to see if the rendering issue is still occurring.
