This is an interesting roundtable with FL hospital leaders, all of whom seem quite sanguine about the situation.

Basically, the message is that the spike in cases is with young people. Hospitals are not burdened, and LTC facilities are secure.

They want young people to start following the social distancing guidelines. But the hospitals are very confidant about where they are.

DeSantis: Patients have "less acuity" than they did "a couple months ago." He thinks it is due to a younger demographic being positive but also better care at hospitals.

Positivity rate among the older age cohorts has *not* increased.

He also thinks that the contact tracing has increased the positivity rate.

Those leaders will be getting a phone call soon telling them this is not how it’s supposed to work
