Pokemon Omega Ruby Game

I like to play pokemon games but my most favourite pokemon game is omega ruby because it mainly comes down to the fact that it’s based off one of the best Pokémon games yet, Emerald (sorta). It takes all the stuff from the definitive Gen 3 game, gives it a shiny coat of 3D paint, adds all the current.

Outside Gen 1, 2 and some Gen 4, I hate nearly every addition to the Pokedex. I "sort" of like some Gen 6 (X&Y), but that mostly comes from the game being a good Pokemon game relative to the prior garbage in B&W and after most recently the S&S nonsense.

I really like the game because of the remade soundtrack. That shits fire. Plus gen 3 is my favorite gen and after that they started just making all the Pokémon nub hands and stick legs with circle bodies.

If you're talking about Sword/Shield, I would say no. It's hardly any different from Sun/Moon besides the wild area which is one of the most bland 'open world' areas I've ever played in. The game is also incredibly easy and the dynamax/gigantimax gimmick is so bad. They should have just kept mega evolutions.
If you want a good Pokemon game on the Switch, get Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX instead.
I wish Pokemon would go back to being in 2D. I feel like the series lost its identity after Gen 5. I'd kill to have a Pokemon game with Octopath Traveler's graphics.

Obviously you can't beat gens 1 and 2 just based on nostalgia, but gen 5 was great too.
Gen 3 nailed the legendaries, but the rest of the gen is just full of meh. Milotic might have one of the best looking Pokemon cards ever tho
