Mentions LSU and UGA as potential landing spots. Says he thinks wanting to play with Maason Smith is a legit factor.

Around the 13:20 minute mark

Getting Ojulari and Foreman in back to back classes would be monstrous for the future of our pass rush

Maason did put a edit up on his IG story of he and Korey from a Pro Georgia page. I do think Georgia is a factor no one is really talking about.

They’ll be in it til the end for Maason but the Cajun mafia and mama will win out in the end

Think we got a real shot at Korey too

Every year if you follow the chatter about with the top players in the state you can figure out the drumbeat whether or not they will be at LSU in the end. Some truly are toss ups but most guys you can tell just by how they are spoken about on each of the boards and paysites. Maason is one of those guys that LSU has always been front and center and there has never really been much of substance to say otherwise.

2020 you could tell this with boutte, roy, guillory, and van pran (pretty telling from the beginning he would not be at LSU without a drastic change of heart).

2019 it was stingley, emery (I would call him more of toss up case), sophser (bama narrative was strong throughout), and kardell.

Follow the tea leaves and what your gut tells you will happen in the end.

Assuming Smith lands at LSU, I could see some benefit to him holding out with his commitment.

Mostly given that if he is an uncommitted prospect (that is leaning LSU and will eventually commit there) speaking with Foreman, his words could be a lot more influential than if he were a committed prospect (to LSU).

It's just natural that we are more inclined to be skeptical of another person's opinion if there seems to be some inherent bias in their words.

Of course there's a long way to go and who knows what will happen, but if I had to put a pick now, id pick us for both. Don't think Smith will be much of a stress. Just have to show Foreman why we are his best option. He and his dad love our staff so it's about showing the business side of it.

Maason is coming to LSU regardless and we're a better scheme fit than Georgia now that we've switched to the 4-3. Foreman would be wasted as a 3-4 DE at Georgia and he's already too big to be a stand up rush LB.
