Homeowner killed chasing suspect?

I was standing in line at post office and overheard someone recounting a story about a homeowner in Baton Rouge who chased after thugs trying to break into his car and he was shot and killed. This happened Sunday night . Has anyone heard this story?

Yes. This happened on Richland Avenue. His terrible judgement got him killed.
